Creator Terms and Content Guidelines

These terms apply to everyone who creates content for the Daily Dose of Happiness app (the “App”) in the Creator Dashboard at creator.daily-dose-of-happiness.de. They apply in addition to our Terms of Use. Our Privacy Policy explains which data we process.

1. Who can become a creator

Creators must be 18 or older and have full legal capacity. We review every application and profile by hand. There is no right to approval or continued participation.

2. Profile

Your display name, bio, profile picture, website, categories and published content are public. Your real name is used only for internal review and is not published.

3. Review and publication

We review impulses and journeys before they are published. You may publish impulses directly only if we have expressly confirmed this for your account. We may withdraw this confirmation at any time. We review categories when they are first published; later changes apply immediately. You cannot edit a journey once it is published. Our review is not a legal or professional check of each piece of content; you remain responsible for your content.

4. Content Guidelines

You may only publish content for which you hold all necessary rights and permissions, in particular for text, images, music, audio, video, trademarks and identifiable people. In particular, the following are not allowed:

• unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, offensive or violence-glorifying content,
• hate speech and content that threatens, harasses or bullies others,
• sexualised content involving minors,
• content that encourages or instructs self-harm, suicide or eating disorders,
• unsupported health promises, or content that discourages people from seeking professional help or could dangerously replace it,
• infringements of copyright, trademark, personality or data protection rights,
• publishing other people's personal data without a legal basis,
• unauthorised advertising, spam, malware or manipulative links.

5. Health claims

The App is not a medical service. You must not claim that content

• treats, cures, reduces or prevents anxiety, depression, burnout or any other condition,
• regulates the nervous system,
• is “clinically proven”, unless we have approved the specific claim in writing,
• detects or predicts mental health problems or crises.

6. Advertising and partnerships

Advertising, sponsorships and other commercial partnerships must be lawful and clearly labelled.

7. Rights

You keep your rights. You grant us a simple, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, copy, technically convert and deliver your content, to publish it in the App, on the Creator Dashboard, the website and related feeds, and to use it to promote the App, your profile or the category on our websites, app store pages and social media channels.

We may adapt formats technically, such as size, file format, crop or compression. We change the substance of content only with your consent, unless the change is purely editorial or needed for legal or safety reasons. We may pass technically necessary rights to hosting, store and delivery providers.

The licence ends when the content is deleted or your creator account ends. We then remove the content from active delivery without undue delay; backups may remain for up to 30 days. For content already used in happiness packages, collections or our own promotional material, the licence continues to that extent. You are paid only under a separate agreement.

8. User data

You only see aggregated statistics. You do not receive individual answers, user IDs, moods or other private entries.

9. Moderation and reports

We may refuse applications and content, restrict their visibility, remove content, or suspend creators temporarily or permanently where this is necessary for legal, safety, user-protection or quality reasons or because of a breach of these terms. A suspension also ends running and planned journeys.

All content and profiles can be reported. Where required by law, we give you reasons and information about available remedies. You can appeal or request a review at info@lioverse.de. We may act immediately in cases of danger, misuse or a legal order.

10. Indemnity

If you culpably infringe third-party rights or these terms, you indemnify us against resulting justified claims and reasonable legal defence costs. This does not apply if you are not responsible for the infringement.

11. Ending your account

You can close your creator account in the Creator Dashboard at any time. We then also delete your categories, content and journeys, the subscriptions to your categories, participants' progress on your journeys and the answers to your questions.
